Navmatica presents at the NGA

Toronto, ON, CANADA – Navmatica delivers training Workshops at the NGA.

Navmatica will be jointly presenting two workshops with Applanix Corporation at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) headquarters in Springfield, Virginia and in its campus in Saint Louis, Missouri on June 16th, and 18th. The full day workshops focused on the state of the art direct Georeferencing technology including GNSS/Integrated systems for mobile mapping from air, land and sea. The use of direct Georeferencing in airborne mapping using digital cameras and/or LiDAR is illustrated in some detail. The underlying concepts of Mobile Mapping including directly georeferenced digital imagery and Laser scans coupled with large project experience are highlighted. The use of Directly georeferenced multi-beam sonar pulses in bathymetric applications will be addressed. The new state of the Art 3D city modelling and Unmanned Aerial System are also presented.
